The Wool Cap
As part of a winter festival presented a woolen cap of 212 meters long.
According to the Guinness Book of Records the longest knitted cap world has a little less than 7 meters. But the one presented by Ginny Woodward weaver is thirty times more. To show that in Sandpoint, Idaho, is the real longest Winter Carnival people of the town decided to show it.
For this, they recorded a video and uploaded to YouTube, I took plenty of photos and released the data from Bonner County Historical Society & Museum testifying that was woven in 1977 as a way to distract themselves during the harsh winters .
An interesting detail: in addition to collaborating with the spread of the Sandpoint Winter Carnival, the hat also has embroidered 539 ads.
