The newspaper Correo de Piura (24/12/2009) accounts for the total éxtito the fair was in Piura Peru Mucho Gusto. The balance sheet shows very interesting figures. It sold no less than 17 000 plates of food and attended by more than ten thousand people and raised about 100 thousand suns.

To prepare these dishes, we used 650 kilos of fish, 180 kilos of onions, lemons 5 000, 90 kilos of cassava, over 6 thousand black shells, 200 kilos of goat, 236 ducks and 900 crabs.
But most importantly, Piura first became the seat of the northern regions of Peru, also promoted at the exhibition and cultural tourism destinations in Tumbes, Piura, Lambayeque and La Libertad.
